Where can I find those Honda civic import cars that you had on page 16 of the 2001 issue no. 3 of your magazine. I could not find it on the Mattel or Hot Wheels websites.

When I checked this site before there was an opportunity to write an article and send it in to you guys but I can't find any specifics about that anymore. I was just wondering if that opportunity was still open?

Minam and "real asian"
The journalism is in the pages of YOLK. Please read the material in the magazine before you make a harsh judgment. We are not the six o'clock news.

Uh...Hello! So, what is the point of your web site, other than its purpose is to deepen your pockets? Where is the constructive journalism? Criminy! For once I thought I might find some substance from the web site, which indicated that its existence is to serve the individuals of their likeness--Korean-Americans.

I saw your booth at Comic Con and had my 2001 calendar autographed by C.C. and Aiko! They are very hot and so is the calendar! As they told me @ the booth when I asked for a 2002 calendar, "are you really looking at the DATES in the calendar"?

Make the photos in Yolk bigger! Many of the photos are the size of sticker pictures from those photo booths!

I think that it's important to not consider Asians as having one culture, that listens to one type of music, has one type of clothing, and prefers one type of cars. There is an extremely large hip-hop culture in Japan and HK (and in other asian contries as well). There are many asians on the "right" coast that are a part of the hip-hop, rock, alt, and house music cultures. Asians are not defined by Import racing trends, or any trends for that matter. What unifies all of us is our genetics and culture. If you see other asians in other areas appreciating a different type of music... maybe it's GOOD music? Just a thought. btw... ****LISTEN TO BOB MARLEY****

Maybe, your
Asian friends think they're white or prefer "white" music? Perhaps it's a cutural phenomena

I do not want to offend anyone, but why are Asians Americans from California so strange. I have spent my whole life here on the East Coast, and it seems that Asians Americans are a little different out there. I'm from Boston and have many Asians from NYC, HK, Tokyo, and Singapore. I find between our taste in music, clothes, cars, and food very simmilar. Every Asian club out here plays techno and house music as in HK. In tangent, Asians out there on the left coast seem to perfer hip hop style and rap. YOLK seeming to be the definitive publication on the Asian scene so please send 411 this way if you can.

Someone wrote to your mag and mentioned that you should turn it into an Asian Maxim. Please don't sell out! As much as I enjoy looking at Asian hotties, your mag is too sophisticated for a "maxim" audience. Stay true to your scope.
