I want to say that you have great taste in models. The "baby mark" in the "get rice" ad in Tomb Raider #16 is one good looking baby. We are just a little prejudice as he is our grandson. The layout was cute and the product information well advertised. Good luck with this media. I teach high school and a lot of my students are Asian. I'm sure that they also read comic books :)
Would it be possible to get the issue(s) of the YOLK magazine that features this ad? Would you please let us know how to get them? I have been to several book stores and newsstands here in the Denver area and can't find them.
Thank you again for a great ad and something to add to our growing collection of proud grandparent pictures.

Re:Knight In Shining Dollars By Alan Quan
I would like to let Alan know that there are women out there who still believes in romance and not care about how large your bank account is. Have faith, every species has it faults. I still have faith that I will meet a man as worthy as you make yourself out to be. Trust me, be patient. Money can not buy the most important things in life. Though a nice car can get you around; so can a hoopty. Style and class is what makes you, not what you posess.
Thanks for publishing such an article to make us not give up hope that Prince Charming does exsist.
Best Regards,
Jazzmin Wong

Wow! I guess we ARE ruffling a few feathers!!! We do listen to all of our "readers," assuming that Disappointed and Lisa Lee have read our magazines cover to cover.... or haven't you?? We pride ourselves on our photos, editorial content, design, and readership. We welcome any criticism and praise that we have worked for this year. But actually READ the publication. Our focus is on entertainment and lifestyle with an Asian American twist. It is meant to be entertaining and sexy as well as informative. With our new management team here, we are changing for the better. Hope you read the mag and get something positive out of it! =)

Uh...Hello! So, what is the point of your web site, other than its purpose is to deepen your
pockets? Where is the constructive journalism? Criminy! For once I thought I might find some
substance from the web site, which indicated that its existence is to serve the individuals of their
likeness--Korean-Americans.

Minam and "real asian" The journalism is in the pages of YOLK. Please read the material in the
magazine before you make a harsh judgment. We are not the six o'clock news.
Yolk doesn't know how to take constructive criticism very well, do they?????????????
Boo-hoo!
Sex sells, doesn't it? Good job, YOLK!

Someone wrote to your mag and mentioned that you should turn it into an Asian Maxim. Please
don't sell out! As much as I enjoy looking at Asian hotties, your mag is too sophisticated for a
"maxim" audience. Stay true to your scope.
Sorry...they've already sold out!

"We'd love to hear your opinions on YOLK Magazine..."
Your message of breaking Asian stereotypes and creating a positive image is contradictary and hypocritical by the images and language used in YOLK. Why not take advantage of this awesome opportunity to empower young Asians with a unique publication containing good information and quality stories that bring the Generasian Next together. Bikini girls, bad language and centerfolds aren't helping us diminish stereotypes..only promoting them.
It's a shame that your "re-birth" is basically a sell out to the "sex sells" philosophy. There's many other more productive ways of being eyebrow-raising, feather-ruffling,visible...profitable. Unfortunately, it's the Asian image that is losing face in expense of Yolk gaining profitability.
It's amusing to know that you don't need your readers and on the contrary, you can say "We'd love to hear your opinions on YOLK Magazine..." Obviously not.
