I hate to admit it, but I'm actually feeling a bit down since I read that Yolk magazine was closing up shop. I've saved every magazine, from the very first one with Margaret Cho on the white cover. I still remember the very day I bought it, seeing it there on the newsstand, and then sending in my subscription check very soon after. I still have all the issues and will cherish. I've been with you guys through the editor changes (geez, my mind's foggy now, just thinking I won't get any more Yolks in the mail, but I think it was maybe two, or three editor changes...... anyway...) I hope Yolk one day resurfaces. Until then I will read the old issues with misty eyes. One Love, and Fight on!!!!

I've noticed other magazines that claim to cater to Asian or Asian American culture but don't include Filipinos at all. I don't get that.
